Gretchen Barretto got her COVID-19 vaccine
The COVID-19 vaccination of former actress Gretchen Barretto went viral as she was heard cursing and this received various reactions from netizens.
On the YouTube channel of Showbiz Update, a clip was shared showing La Greta was having the vaccination. Although she is known for her fierceness and being a strong woman, the former actress showed that she was somehow afraid to feel the needle.
Gretchen was seen holding the arm of the nurse that was beside her while the other nurse was vaccinating her. The former actress was heard saying underneath her mask: “P@&%@*. Sh*t. Sorry. Aray (inaudible). Masakit din ah.”
It can be heard also that the man behind the camera was laughing after Gretchen Barretto cursed. This video of the former actress, which was not specified when it was taken, received various reactions from netizens. Some netizens were questioning why she was vaccinated already when the frontliners and senior citizens should be prioritized.
Based on the article in the Philippine Star Ngayon, last Friday, the Inter-Agency Task Force COVID-19 vaccination list was released and in this were stated the names of persons with comorbidities. They fall in category A3 and are third in the priority list after frontliners and senior citizens.
Other celebrities who got vaccinated just recently also are OPM icons Ogie Alcasid and Regine Velasquez. In his Instagram post, Ogie explained that he and Regine also included in the list of third priority.
To recall, actor Mark Anthony Fernandez received a massive amount of criticism when he was vaccinated during the time when the vaccination was on its first priority list. Parañaque City Mayor Edwin Olivarez defended the actor against the bashing.
