Sanya Lopez Slams Basher Criticizing Her Acting on GMA’s Show ‘First Yaya’
Kapuso actress Sanya Lopez reacts to the basher who is saying she is over-acting (OA) on her GMA’s show ‘First Yaya’ with Gabby Concepcion.
Some critics say that Sanya’s scenes in the primetime series “First Yaya” were overacted. In the said GMA series, in which she is paired with Gabby Concepcion, who plays the country’s president, the girl bravely but calmly responded to those who criticized her.
Sanya read and replayed several feedbacks from viewers of GMA Telebabad’s “First Yaya” in one of her YouTube vlogs. And one of them said that her portrayal of Gabby’s character’s children as a nanny was OA or over-acting.

The story of “First Yaya” was also compared to the previous ABS-CBN teleserye starring Jodi Sta. Maria and Richard Yap, according to the netizen. Sanya, on the other hand, claims that Jodi and Richard’s “Be Careful With My Heart” is different from “First Yaya.”
“’Yung Be Careful With My Heart po, alam ko, balita ko na napakaganda ng teleserye na ‘yan pero uunahan po namin kayo na ang First Yaya po at Be Careful With My Heart ay magkaibang-magkaiba po. Sana later on magustuhan mo rin ang First Yaya,” she said.
While some have criticized Sanya’s acting in the series, others have praised her and said she is ideal for the role. Some of Team Sanya’s share thoughts on the situation.
“Kakatuwa ka Melody (Sanya’s character on drama series). Natural na natural lahat ng moves mo. Super enjoy ako sa panonood from Malaysia.”
“Sa nagsabing OA si Sanya, mas OA ka gurl. Nagmamarunong ka obvious. Saan banda yung OA dun? Sige nga? Mema lang?”
“Gustong gusto ko ang role ni Melody. Kakakilig at kayang kaya niyang umarte. Nawawala stress ko pag napapanood ko na siya.”
