Following a warning of a legal case from Vice Ganda, vlogger Buknoy and his friend made a public apology.
VICE GANDA – Following the loud buzz that Buknoy and his friend made online dragging Vice Ganda, they issued a public apology.
Controversial social media personality, influencer, and internet sensation Buknoy Glamurrr or Andrew Luis Lapid in real life, along with his friend Gabo Adeva, are currently under hot waters. Accused of slander and fraud for pretending to be someone else such as Awra Briguela is Buknoy who also made up stories dragging Vice Ganda and his partner Ion Perez.

To recall, Buknoy, was the one who trended before downgrading the job of tricycle drivers which earned various comments and backlash online. And just recently, in a video that circulated online over the weekend, the online creator under Star Image Artist Management talked ill about Vice Ganda and even said this about his relationship with Ion, “Oo, akala mo naman mamahalin sya ni Ion.”
Ion, on the other hand, after such went viral, made intriguing remarks online like “Walang galit na nararamdaman bagkos naaawa! Keep safe,” and “Masyado ng problemado ang mundo para isipin pa namen kayo!”
With these fabricated stories and “below-the-belt” hirits, Awra reacted and revealed that Vice has accordingly talked to her lawyers about this matter. According to Awra, Vice assured him this and said, “Yung assurance ko na lang talaga is nag-reply na si Meme. And then ang sabi lang niya sa akin, ‘I will talk to my lawyers about this.’ And then, ‘Relax ka lang diyan. Chill ka lang.’ Yun lang ang assurance na maibibigay ko. Na aware na si Meme sa nangyayari.”
Following the controversy they stirred online, in a live video along with their handlers, Buknoy and Gabo issued their apologies publicly. They were both regretful for the made-up stories the told and said their sorries to Vice Ganda and Ion. Gabo, in his apology to Awra, expressed, “Gusto ko rin po humingi ng sorry kay Awra sa mga binitawan kong laos, o kung bakit ka binitawan ni Meme.”
“Kay Meme Vice na nasabihan ko ng mga mali na hindi kaaya-aya, ‘tsaka kay Ion, sorry po sa mga nasabi ko na hindi niyo nagustuhan. Sana mapatawad niyo ako,” says Buknoy, on the other hand. He also apologized to his managers and to all the people affected by his offensive acts.
Because of their misconduct, Buknoy and Gabo were fined Php 100,000.00 each.
