Lady Throwing Bucket of Trash at Tanza Shore Goes Viral, Earned Criticisms
The online community criticized a lady caught on camera throwing a bucket of trash at the shore of Tanza Cavite amid the water pollution issue in the country.
Garbage pollution has been one of the most serious environmental issues in the Philippines, as well as other countries around the world, in recent decades. Garbage contamination is also one of the major causes of heavy flooding, which disrupts the lives of thousands of Filipinos.
Many government agencies and environmental organizations are working to reduce the country’s growing garbage pollution levels. However, some people remain obstinate and continue to spill their garbage in the river and seashores.
On Facebook, a concerned netizen captured a lady throwing bucket of garbage on the shore of Tanza, Cavite. The identity of the said lady and the exact location of the shore where she deliberately throws her wastes are not yet identified.

Meanwhile, local residents and other internet users have condemned her reckless actions in the midst of the country’s ongoing debate about water contamination. The online group is angry with her because she might be one of the people who are angry and blamed the government when small rain turns into a flood.
Meanwhile, a new coat of dolomite sand was poured to Manila Bay, early Wednesday morning. Several backhoe operators are currently pouring and leveling crushed dolomite rocks in the area.
The government put about 500 tons of crushed dolomite rocks last year to spruce up a portion of the Baywalk area in Manila Bay, which will be open to the public by September 2020.
The P389-million project, according to the Department of Environment and Natural Resources (DENR), will discourage people from littering. The rocks are not a health threat, according to the health department.
