Is it true that the engagement ring that Derek Ramsay gave to Ellen Adarna was the one that Angelica Panganiban turned down?
Derek and Angelica broke up in 2012 over the phone and that ended their 6-year relationship. From that, the two celebrities were linked to others after they separated. However, they have been linked again to each other just recently because of the engagement ring that the actor gave to her now-fiancee.
Based on the article by entertainment columnist Jun Lalin in Abante, Derek has been expressing irritation over the intrigues being thrown against him and Ellen and their relationship.
It is said that the hunk actor gets annoyed that people would express mean comments against them even though they do not know what is going on between the two of them behind the camera.
One of the recent intrigues that surfaced against the relationship of Derek Ramsay and Ellen Adarna is that allegedly, the engagement ring was first offered to Angelica Panganiban and she had already worn it but later on turned it down.
In Abante’s sister tabloid Newsko, Derek clarified to columnist Moly Alinio that there is no truth in this. He added that his past relationship with Angelica did not reach the point that they will get engaged.
The actor also stressed that the engagement ring was not from his mother as he said that it is new. With this clarification from the actor that was published, he thanked Alinio.
“In fairness, marunong mag-appreciate si Derek kapag tama ang mga naisusulat tungkol sa kaniya at sa fiancee niyang si Ellen,” Jun Lalin commented.
