Migo Adecer shared this surprising post on his Instagram account
Kapuso actor Migo Adecer bids goodbye to show business through his recent post on Instagram and this received reaction from his fellow GMA artists, as well as from his fans.
Migo was born Douglas Errol Dreyfus Adecer and he is half-Filipino and half-Australian. He started his career in the entertainment industry in 2015 when he joined the Kapuso reality talent search StarStruck.
The young actor was hailed as the Male Ultimate Survivor during his batch. From that, he did many projects under the GMA Artist Center. Based on the article in PEP, in previous interviews, Migo expressed that there is a lot of things that he still wants to do when it comes to his showbiz career.
He said that he wanted to do a project that will feature his music as he has written several songs already. However, previous plans faced changes due to the pandemic.
Reportedly, Migo Adecer already flew to Australia last night and he left this message to one of his co-workers. “Decided to hang up the coat. Just wasn’t feeling it anymore! And I wanted to be closer to my family,” the actor said.
In his recent Instagram post, Migo formally say farewell to his fans and to his home network. He also thanked everyone for the good and even the bad memories that he had that made him who he is now.
“To the Philippines, I bid you farewell, to @gmanetwork @artistcenter I say thank you for the epic opportunity to work for you guys!” Migo wrote. He especially mentioned the Migonatics, his fandom.
Several of his fellow Kapuso stars showed support for him such as Mark Herras and Mavy Legaspi.
His fans are surprised and sad as well upon knowing that they will no longer see him in future showbiz projects. There are many fans who also wished him good luck for his new journey. Here are some of the comments from the fans of Migo Adecer.
