The Samsung Galaxy Fold comes in a 7.3 inches screen size and the display is a foldable Dynamic AMOLED capacitive touchscreen that provides 1536 x 2152 pixels resolution. The smartphone is built with a glass front (folded), plastic front (unfolded), a glass back, and an aluminum frame.

Samsung Galaxy Fold measures 160.9 x 117.9 x 6.9 mm when folded, or 160.9 x 62.9 x 15.5 mm unfolded. It weighs 263 grams. The phone supports Nano-SIM and eSIM.

The smartphone is powered by the Qualcomm SM8150 Snapdragon 855 (7 nm) Octa-core processor while the graphics processing unit (GPU) is Adreno 640. Galaxy Fold runs on the Android 9.0 (Pie) upgradable to Android 11 + One UI 3.1 operating system. It is packed with 12GB of RAM and 512GB of internal storage.

The rear side of the Samsung Galaxy Fold sports a 12-megapixel (wide) + 12-megapixel (telephoto) + 16-megapixel (ultrawide) camera. On the front, there’s a dual-camera that consists of 10-megapixel (wide) + 8-megapixel (wide) sensors.

Galaxy Fold is powered by a 4380 mAh Li-Po battery (non-removable) + fast charging 15W + fast wireless charging 15W + reverse wireless charging 4.5W. It is available in four colors: Space Silver, Cosmos Black, Martian Green, Astro Blue.

Sensors on the device include barometer, compass, accelerometer, gyro, proximity, fingerprint (side-mounted), Bixby natural language commands and dictation, Samsung DeX, and Samsung Pay. It also features Bluetooth 5.0, NFC, USB Type-C 3.1, GPS with A-GPS, GALILEO, GLONASS, and BDS.
