7 Wanted Criminals in Bicol Provinces Arrested by Police Anti-Crime Operatives
The Police anti-crime operatives arrested around 7 wanted criminals in separate operations in five provinces of Bicol.
Bicol police spokesperson Major Maria Luisa Calubaquib said that the suspects have been arrested for different charges such as abuse of women and child, attempted and frustrated murder, arson, and illegal possession of firearms.
The cops arrested a 42-year-old suspect named Rodel Grengia at Lagonoy town in Camarines Sur over illegal possession of firearms and ammunition. The 21-year-old Erwin Matia has been arrested in Sipocot, Camarines Sur due to attempted murder charge.
The police also collared a 40-year-old criminal identified as Larry Bruña of Barangay Sogod in Calabanga, Camarines Sur over arson charges. The 34-year-old Arnel Ocampo who has been tagged as number one wanted person in Talisay, Camarines Norte got arrested over charges of child and women abuse.
Joven Bosquet, 30 of Barangay Marigondon in Pio Duran, Albay and Ronel Lazarte, 24 of Barangay Morocborocanover have been arrested over rape charges.
A 37-year-old suspect Jose Formanes has been arrested at his house in Matnog, Sorsogon over frustrated murder charges.
The suspects are currently placed under police custody and just waiting for court disposition.
