Foreigners Violating IATF Protocols Could Possibly Be Deported Says BI

FOREIGNERS VIOLATING IATF PROTOCOLS – According to the Bureau of Immigration (BI), foreigners who are caught violating health protocols in the Philippines may be deported.

Recently, BI intelligence chief Fortunato Manahan Jr. stated they have gotten reports of some high-ranking foreign executives violated health protocols in their workplace. As such, Manahan said:

We will be conducting an investigation on these reports, and if found with merit, will file immigration cases against aliens involved

Meanwhile, Commissioner Jaime Morente reiterated that foreigners disrespecting persons of authority may be tagged as undesirable aliens. Based on an article from GMA, Morente said:

Foreign nationals who disrespect symbols of our country and persons of authority are not welcome in the Philippines

Previously, a Spanish National was barred from the Philippines after an altercation with a police officer in a Makati Subdivision. The scuffle between Javier Salvador Parra and a Makati Police officer led to an attempted arrest.

Before the arrest occurred, police came into his property after they noticed Parra’s house aid was watering plants outside their home without a face mask.
