UK Regulators Record Over 50 Cases Of Blood Clot Events Aftra AstraZeneca Use

BLOOD CLOT AFTER ASTRAZENECA USE – British Regulators have identified 30 cases of blood clot events following inoculation using AstraZeneca.

As such, authorities the total tally of cases is now at 55. However, the agency noted that no such events occurred when using BioNTech and Pfizer vaccines. But, even with the clotting events, the benefits of AstraZeneca outweigh the risks according to health officials.

Still, some countries restricted the use of the vaccine due to the possible risks of blood clots. Currently, investigations on the vaccine and its side effects continue. On March 18. UK medicines regulators reported 5 cases of rare brain blood clots among 11 million inoculations.

Meanwhile, the World Health Organization (WHO) emphasized that the benefits of AstraZeneca’s vaccine outweighed the risks. According to an article from ABS-CBN, WHO said:

At this time, WHO considers that the benefits of the AstraZeneca vaccine outweigh its risks and recommends that vaccinations continue…
