Holy Week 2021: Malls Operating Hours For Holy Week Amid ECQ

Mall Hours for Holy Week 2021

HOLY WEEK 2021 – Several malls adjusted their Holy Week 2021 schedules amid the enhanced community quarantine (ECQ) in the “NCR Plus” bubble.

As the Christian community begins its observation of the Holy Week from March 28 to April 3, malls in the Philippines adjusted their schedules. The religious holiday is not the same as what was held in the previous years due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

Last year, limited store hours were observed for the rest of the religious holiday under ECQ. For this year, malls adjusted their operating hours for Holy Week 2021 amid the ECQ.

Several malls adjusted their closing time in compliance with the Inter-agency Task Force for the Management of Emerging Infectious Diseases regulations and the implementation of the ECQ in the “NCR Plus” bubble from March 29 to April 4.

People are advised to go outside only if it is necessary and they should observe safety protocols including wearing face shields and masks. Pregnant women, senior citizens, minors, and those with co-morbidities and immunodeficiency are not allowed to go out during the enhanced community quarantine.
