After someone robbed his family home years ago, Slater Young shares effective tips to secure a house at night.
SLATER YOUNG – Professional engineer and former actor Slater Young has these tips and devices people can use to prevent their house from being robbed.
How do you protect your house at night from thieves? Can you sleep soundly without something to alarm you when someone breaks in and take away your things? Robbery is among the top criminal acts in the country and numerous people were a victim of this. Such an experience is traumatic for Slater Young just like any of us. The Pinoy Big Brother 2012 big winner is now a vlogger and in his channel’s recent upload, he shared some tips on what people can effectively do to protect their house from robbers.
Looking back years ago when he was still staying in his parents’ house, he shared that some broke into his parents’ house and took with him everything his eyes have seen. Reviewing their CCTV recording, fear enveloped them because while they were all sleeping, the thief has actually stayed and roamed around their house for hours already. He went from room to room and got every single thing he can carry. He even showed in his vlog the actual footage.
And with this experience, he shared in his recent video the effective tools and devices he discovered to protect his house. As much as we all know, he has this luxury mansion in Cebu which is very open and definitely something that would catch a thief’s eyes. In his video, he demonstrated how each tool is used.
He has everything he introduced to us in his home and having those accordingly makes him feel safe especially at night. The professional engineer also revealed how people can obtain such things for the protection of their homes as well. He has these bright solar lights to keep his house alive at night, motion-activated lights he can attach to a wall, sensor alarms, emergency light, a first aid kit, an access safe where he can keep his arm safely, and among other useful things.
He shared, “I really feel safe at home with all these things that we have placed around our house and we can sleep soundly at night. Dapat kasi we always feel safe in our own home, ‘di ba?”
