PAGASA – Here are the following latest updates from the state weather bureau PAGASA, on this day March 23, 2021 (Tuesday).
The early morning forecast from the state weather bureau says that the Tail-end of Frontal System will be affecting Central Luzon, while the easterlies will affect the rest of the country.
For the forecast weather conditions, the northeast monsoon or amihan will bring cloudy skies with light rains over Cagayan Valley and Cordillera Administrative Region, and partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated light rains over Ilocos Region.
The Tail-end of Frontal System will bring cloudy skies with scattered rain showers and thunderstorms over Bicol Region, Aurora, and Quezon. Possible flash floods or landslides may occur during severe thunderstorms.
Lastly, the easterlies will bring partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers or thunderstorms over Metro Manila and the rest of the country. Possible flash floods or landslides may occur during severe thunderstorms.
Based on the report, for the wind speed and coastal water forecast, Northern Luzon will face moderate to strong winds that are moving in the northeast direction while facing moderate to rough coastal waters with waves reaching up to 2.5 to 4.0 meters.
The Eastern section of Visayas and the rest of Luzon will also face moderate to strong winds that are moving in the northeast direction while facing moderate to rough coastal waters with waves reaching up to 1.2 to 3,4 meters.
Mindanao and the rest of Visayas will face light to moderate winds that are moving in the east to northeast direction while coastal waters will be slight to moderate with waves reaching up to 0.6 to 2.1 meters.
