WHAT ARE EXAMPLES HEDONISM – Hedonism is particularly a basic form of morality that caters to our pleasure or pains. In its essence, Hedonism states that if something is pleasurable, it is good – if not, then it is bad.
According to Hedonism, there are certain types of pleasure, the most talked about being Katestematic pleasure and Kinetic pleasure.
Katestematic is pleasure is viewed more as a “long-term pleasure”. Meanwhile, Kinetic pleasure is perceived as “short-term”. Here are some examples:

In this though experiment, a situation is given wherein an individual can choose to forego reality and enter a virtually simulated world that feels so real wherein you can achieve the “happiness” that you desire.
Finally, we need to understand the nuance behind pleasure and pain when it comes to Hedonism. Being humans, we all have different tastes, values, and morals. As such, we also have differences when it comes to our pleasures.
