P5.3M Worth of Ecstasy Tablets Seized by Gov’t Operatives in Pampanga

Government operatives joined forces to seized illegal drugs called ecstasy tablets worth P5.3 million in Mabalacat, Pampanga.

In a massive anti-illegal drug operation, government operatives were able to seize millions worth of ecstasy tablets. Joint operatives of the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) RO-NCR Seaport Interdiction Unit, PDEA RO III, Pampanga Provincial Police Office, Bureau of Customs, Philpost Inspectorate Service, and the Mabalacat City police.

They arrested Agatha Palen Lavadia, 27, of C-2 Feliciano Compound Brgy Dau, Mabalacat City in the City Post Office located at the 2nd-floor Market of Brgy San Francisco, Mabalacat City.

Authorities have seized more or less 3,100 pieces of ecstasy with a street value of P5,270,000. Aside from the drugs, one Iphone7, one Bureau of Internal Revenue ID; one Philpost Official Acknowledgment Receipt; one Registry Notice; one authorization letter; a photocopy of an ID of a certain Zhyrelle M. Ancheta; one Parcel Delivery Notice, and one signature record from courier service.

The suspect is already in the anti-narcotic custody. Charges for violation of Sec 4 (importation of illegal drugs) of RA 9165 is already being prepared against the suspect.
