Sylvia Sanchez Remains Positive in Life and Grateful After COVID-19 Experience

Kapamilya veteran actress Sylvia Sanchez shares she remains positive in life and grateful after getting struck by the coronavirus disease (COVID-19).

It’s been a year since Sylvia Sanchez, as well as her husband Art Atayde, contracted the coronavirus. She recalls her memories when she was diagnosed with the dreadful virus in the past.

However, that experience was no reason for her to question god. Despite the illness, she just thought of a more positive outlook, based on the article of Abante.

“Ang kapalit noon, mas naging close ang buong pamilya. May magandang kapalit noon. Oo may takot ako para sa mga anak ko na baka mahawa sila,” she shared.

She said her family received many blessings after the incident. “Sabi ko nga, ang kapalit noon blessing, ang daming magandang nagyari sa buhay ko. So bakit mo tatanungin ang diyos sa isang beses lang nangyari yon sa iyo.”

Meanwhile, Sylvia will be starring in the “Huwag Kang Mangamba” with Andrea Brillantes, Seth Fedelin, Kyle Echarri, Francine Diaz. Ibyang shared that she had no bad experience with them.

“Mababait sila sa set. Lahat sila professional. Sa akin okey lang ang kahit papaano maglaro ka sa set pag hindi pa nagru-roll ang camera. Pero once na mag-roll na ang camera, dapat ready ka. At ganun sila, lagi silang ready. Hindi sila sakit sa ulo,” she said.

She added that she considers the young stars as her children. She prepares food for them on the set as sometimes the young actors and actresses texted her if she has something to eat.

“Nakakatuwa sila, dahil minsan magti-text sila sa akin, Nanay, meron ka po bang pagkain diyan, nagugutom kami. May mga anak ako na inaalagaan sa set. Tuwang-tuwa ako. Naghahanda ako ng food sa kanila,” Sylvia said.

“Nagu-open sa akin ang mga bata. Nagpapayo ako sa kanila. Basta proud ako, ang gagaling nilang lahat umarte. Sila na ang next generation na sisikat talaga,” she added.
