Sarah Geronimo shares how she admires this singer
Popstar Royalty Sarah Geronimo revealed that there was a point in her life that she dreamed of reaching the kind of popularity that this singer has achieved.
Sarah is indeed one of the most popular artists in her generation. She can sing, dance, and act, and her versatility is well-loved by many.
It is known to many that the Popstar Royalty, before achieving her status now, came from a humble beginning. She used to be an aspiring singer who joined various singing contests, now, she is one of the well-respected mentors or judges in the biggest singing contests on TV.
During a recent virtual media conference for her Tala The Film Concert on March 17 for her 18th anniversary in the entertainment industry, Sarah Geronimo was asked by PEP about the meaning of “tala” for her.
She said, “glitz, glamour, Michael Jackson, star, superstar.” Sarah said that it was want she wanted to achieve in her life since she was young.”
“Gusto ko maging kasing galing ni Michael, ang popular niya, nag-sparkle si Michael Jackson eh,” she added. Sarah expressed how she admired the talent of the King of Pop. Not only his talent, the Popstar Royalty also stressed that the mere presence of the music icon has that dramatic effect to his audience.
“Iba ‘yung effect niya sa akin, iba yung effect niya sa mga tao to the point na naiiyak na ‘yung mga tao. Presence lang niya, hindi pa siya gumagalaw, hindi pa siya nagpe-perform, naiiyak na ‘yung mga tao,” the singer-actress said.
Sarah Geronimo said that she wanted to have the same effect to the people.
