OFWs Complained Over 1,500 Repatriates Limit Per Day During Summer 2021

The OFWs from the Middle East complained over the 1, 500 repatriates limit per day during summer this year 2021.

A lot of Overseas Filipino Workers from the Middle East are questioning the limit of Pinoy migrant workers who will be allowed to return to the country during this summer. Many of them expressed their sentiments regarding the ruling.

OFW Aunzo Utbo Aldaya Bhemz said that OFWs are not the reason why the cases of coronavirus disease in the Philippines continues to increase but it was the mistake of irresponsible Filipino citizens.

Marivic Husain Jaron agreed that the government made the right decision to ensure the safety of Pinoy migrant workers and Filipino citizens.

Other OFWs were excited to go back to their family but they are worrying that their flight might be canceled due to the new measure but some of them understand the government’s decision to limit the number of repatriates.

“Excited na po ako umuwi dahil two years and two months na ako, March 28 po ang flight ko. Gusto ko na umuwi, kabado ako sir, ‘yan ang inaalala ko sir,” Saudi Arabia domestic helper Bhe May Florano said.
