Drug Den In Zambales Dismantled, Six Suspects Arrested

ZAMBALES – Police officers have recently dismantled an alleged drug den in Subic, Zambales and arrested six suspected drug personalities.

According to a report from Inquirer, the suspects arrested were identified as Joel Dela Cruz, Bienbenido Espinoso, Domingo Sioco, Sagani Okerya, Isnalin Ussam, and Princess Joy Lacaba.

Investigators said that Espinoso and Ussam are among the included in the local drug watch list. Retrieved from the suspects were six sachets of illegal drugs, which are worth P140,000.

Operatives of the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency in Central Luzon (Region III) as well as local police conducted the raid in Purok 5, Barangay Matain in Subic after placing the alleged den under surveillance.

Based on the report, the suspects will be charged for violating the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.

In a separate drug report, a big-time drug operator in Jolo, Sulu was arrested by operatives of the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency in BARMM.

The operation was conducted by operatives from PDEA-BARMM, members of the Army’s 35th IB, the Bangsamoro regional police, the CIDG-BARMM, the Special Action Force (SAF) of the Jolo police, the PDEA-9, and government intelligence communities.

The police said that the said drugs are imported from Golden Triangle Cartel, a syndicate operating on the tri-borders of Myanmar, Thailand and Cambodia.
