PAGASA – Here are the following latest updates from the state weather bureau PAGASA, on this day March 15, 2021 (Monday).

The 4 AM daily forecast from the state weather bureau says that the Low Pressure Area (LPA) was last spotted at 15 km North of Cuyo, Palawan.

The bureau’s official website says that the Northeast Monsoon or amihan will affect Northern Luzon and eastern section of Central Luzon, while the Tail-end of Frontal System will affect the eastern section of Southern Luzon.

For the forecast weather conditions, the LPA, as well as the Tail end of Frontal System will bring cloudy skies with scattered rain showers and thunderstorms over MIMAROPA, Bicol Region, CALABARZON, Eastern Visayas and Panay Island. Possible flash floods or landslides may occur during moderate to at times heavy rains.

Meanwhile, the Northeast Monsoon or Amihan will bring cloudy skies with light rains over Cagayan Valley, and Aurora; and partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated light rains.

Mindanao and the rest of Visayas will face partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers due to localized thunderstorms. Possible flash floods or landslides due to severe thunderstorms.

Based on the website, for the wind and coastal water condition, Luzon will face moderate to strong winds that are facing in the northeast direction while facing moderate to rough coastal waters.

Visayas will face light to moderate winds that are facing in the southeast to northeast direction while facing slight to moderate coastal waters.

Mindanao will face light to moderate winds that are facing in the southwest to southeast direction while facing slight to moderate coastal waters.
