P1.3 Million Worth Of Illegal Drugs Seized In Novaliches, Quezon City
QUEZON CITY – Police have recently seized about P1.3 million worth of illegal drugs in a buy-bust operations in Novaliches, Quezon City.
According to a report from ABS-CBN News, the buy-bust operation that was conducted in Barangay Gulod in the area on Thursday night also led to the arrest of two men.
The operation’s target was identified under the alias ‘Bunso’, aged 31, who is under the watch list of the said Barangay. The target was previously arrested in 2009 for being a drug user and pusher.
Also arrested was the other suspect under the alias ‘Waldo, aged 57 and a resident in the area. He was also previously arrested twice over drugs.
Based on the report, two poseur buyers used P50,000 boodle money in the operation. Upon confirmation that the two were selling drugs, authorities immediately arrest them and retrieved 200 grams of suspected illegal drugs which are worth P1,360,000.
The two will face charges over violation of Republic Act 9165 or Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.
