Here’s what Chris Evans said about the Philippines
Captain America actor Chris Evans said that he wants to visit the Philippines after the pandemic as he heard great things about the country.
Chris is one of the popular Hollywood stars who is included in the star-studded cast of The Avengers. Many Filipinos have been avid fans of Marvel’s superhero movies and that included his character as Captain America.
Just recently, Chris added a new reason for Filipinos to love him. He is the newest foreign celebrity endorser of a telecommunication company in the Philippines. His video for the advertisement trended on social media on the day that it was released.
Many Pinoy netizens talked about this on social media, especially that it was the third time when the said company commissioned a non-Filipino celebrity to endorse it. Previously, South Korean stars Hyun Bin and Son Ye-Jin also did TV ads for the said company.
Based on the recent Instagram post of entertainment columnist Salve Asis, a virtual media conference was recently held and members of the Filipino press had the chance to interview Chris Evans.
Reportedly, during the said interview, the Hollywood actor expressed that he wants to visit the Philippines in the future. He specifically mentioned the good things he heard about the country.
“I’ve heard great things. Great beaches! I’ve heard that today, actually. I heard great food. Wonderful people. I mean every time I am in any sort of Asian territory it’s always hard to leave because it is incredibly welcoming and aesthetically beautiful so I am eager to visit,” Chris Evans said.
