Buzz Lightyear Gets Origin Film With Chris Evans Voice Acting The Title Role
BUZZ LIGHTYEAR GETS ORIGIN FILM – To Infinity and Beyond has become one of the most iconic lines not just in animation, but in the film industry as a whole.
Everybody knows the line, everybody knows the movies. We all grew up watching and falling in love with the characters of Disney Pixar’s Toy Story. Now, one of Star Command’s top Space Rangers, Buzz Lightyear is getting his own origin movie. With this, we now get to know what happened before infinity.
Pixar recently made the announcement on its official Twitter account:
Blasting into theaters on June 17, 2022, Lightyear is the definitive story of the original Buzz Lightyear. Voiced by @ChrisEvans, get ready to go to “infinity and beyond” with Lightyear.
Furthermore, Pixar was nice enough to give as a sneak peek of the young test pilot that became the beloved Space Ranger that he is today.
In terms of directing, Pixar is brining back Angus MacLane, the co-director of Finding Dory, is set to direct the hyped-up origin story of Buzz Lightyear. Moreover, to make things more interesting, Buzz will be voice by non-other than Captain America himself, Chris Evans.
