PAGASA – Latest Weather Updates This March 2, 2021

PAGASA – Here are the following latest updates from the state weather bureau PAGASA, on this day March 2, 2021 (Tuesday).

The 4 AM daily forecast from the state weather bureau says that the northeast monsoon will be affecting extreme Northern Luzon while the easterlies will be affecting Southern Luzon, Visayas, and Mindanao.

According to the bureau’s official website, the northeast monsoon or amihan will bring partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated light rains over Batanes and Babuyan Islands.

Metro Manila and the rest of the country, on the other hand, will face partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers due to easterlies and/or localized thunderstorms.

Possible flash floods or landslides may occur during severe thunderstorms.

Based on the website, for the wind and coastal water condition, Northern Luzon will face moderate to strong winds that are moving in the northeast direction while facing moderate to rough coastal waters.

The rest of the country will face light to moderate winds that are moving in the east to northeast direction while facing slight to moderate coastal waters.

The following cities will face the following temperature range:

  • Baguio City – 24 degrees Celsius to 15 degrees Celsius
  • Cagayan De Oro City – 31 degrees Celsius to 23 degrees Celsius
  • Iloilo City – 32 degrees Celsius to 26 degrees Celsius
  • Bacolod City – 32 degrees Celsius to 26 degrees Celsius
  • Kalayaan Group Of Islands – 33 degrees Celsius to 26 degrees Celsius
  • Laoag City – 32 degrees Celsius to 24 degrees Celsius
  • Legazpi City – 32 degrees Celsius to 24 degrees Celsius
  • Lipa City – 33 degrees Celsius to 24 degrees Celsius
  • Metro Cebu – 31 degrees Celsius to 26 degrees Celsius
  • Metro Davao – 33 degrees Celsius to 25 degrees Celsius
  • Metro Manila – 32 degrees Celsius to 24 degrees Celsius
  • Puerto Princesa City – 32 degrees Celsius to 25 degrees Celsius
