WILLIE REVILLAME – Kapuso game show host Willie Revillame has this thing in his mind to give to his “apo” with Meryll Soriano and Joem Bascon.
Baby Gido is the son of Meryll Soriano and Joem Bascon who she gave birth to last December 2020. And their baby is Willie Revillame’s blessing that arrived to him during the pandemic. This is his 2nd granchild after Elijah, Meryll’s 13-year-old son with former husband Bernard Palanca.
To recall, the revelation of Meryll and Joem’s rekindled romance and having a baby has sparked speculations. It prompted Crisha Uy, the actor’s girlfriend before, to speak about the controversy and clarified things on her part. Joem and Crisha have been together for eight years then.
Meanwhile, Revillame was grateful and filled with joy to have his 2nd ‘apo’. Durin a press meet, he expressed that he wanted to be the best buddy to his grandchildren that they can ever have. He said, “Hindi lang lolo, hindi lang apo, parang kaibigan mo, kabarkada mo yung mga apo mo.”
The male host revealed that it was just his daughter who usually buys essential stuff for the baby and he would just give a certain amount of money. And when asked what is in his mind that he would like to buy for his ‘apo’ now, it would be brief.
He seriously noted and explained, “E, iyan ang kailangan. Brief, lampin sa ngayon. Yun ang kailangan nung bata sa ngayon, may tsupon na, e.”
Revillame also added that Meryll and her family will eventually have what he has. Thinking far ahead, he stated, “Siyempre yung future naman nila. Kung ano man ang meron ako, sa kanila naman mapupunta yun, e, di ba?”
