Tagbilaran City Drug Bust Results In Arrest Of 19 Year Old Teenager
TAGBILARAN CITY – A man, 19 years of age was nabbed by police in a buy-bust operation in Tagbilaran City, Bohol province.
The suspect, identified as Johnrey De Leon, a resident of the New Capitol Site in the city, was arrested by operatives from the Drug Enforcement Unit led by Lt. Augusto Sumaylo in a buy bust operation in his residence.
Police added that they apprehended the suspect after he sold illegal drugs worth at about P500 to a poseur buyer.
Retrieved by the authorities were eight more packets of illegal drugs from the suspect. The retrieved drugs were worth P74,800 and weighs 11 grams.
The suspect is currently under the custody of the local City Police Station pending the filing of charges against him.
The teenager will be charged for violating Sections 5 (sale) and 11 (possession) of Republic Act 9165, otherwise known as the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002, based on the report.
