The Guardia Civil initially thought it was lifeless, but when it was released from the ash tree, the man regained consciousness. Guardia Civil spokesperson said he was almost dead and frightened after seeing an officer.

“The man’s life was saved. He was almost dead. He doesn’t even know where he is, he is frightened when he sees the officer’s knife and the officer has to reassure him and tell him that he is here to help him,” spokesperson said.

Others are hidden under thousands of broken bottles. If they are not discovered by the authorities, migrants will travel seven hours to the Spanish Mainland where recycled waste will be recycled.

African migrants come to Europe for many reasons. Men migrate there in order to find a good life, while women often leave their homeland to escape violence.
