Alvin Elchico Reveals ABS-CBN Reporter Doris Bigornia Got Heart Attack

ABS-CBN REPORTER DORIS BIGORNIA – TeleRadyo’s Alvin Elchico revealed that veteran broadcast journalist Doris Bigornia suffered from heart attack.

Heart attack is one of the health conditions considered as a “traitor” as it can happen anytime and anywhere. This health condition happens when an artery that supplies blood and oxygen in the heart has a blockage.

Unfortunately, heart attack can lead to sudden death. An immediate response is needed and there are cases that a surgery is needed for the patient to fully recover.

Recently, a lot of people were curious by the absence of ABS-CBN reporter Doris Bigornia in TeleRadyo’s SRO. His fellow Kapamilya broadcaster, Alvin Elchico, made the announcement.

Alvin sought the permission of the family of Doris before making the announcement in TeleRadyo’s SRO. She is considered as the Mutya ng Masa and is one of the most popular news reporters in the field.

According to Alvin Elchico, ABS-CBN reporter Doris Bigornia suffered from heart attack last Sunday. She is currently admitted in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) of an undisclosed hospital.

“Pinapasabi lang po, ang Mutya ng Masa, siya po ay inatake sa puso noong Linggo… Siya po’y isinugod sa ospital at ngayon po’y nasa ICU,” he said.
