Bakeshop in Maguindanao Give Away 2,000 Breads for Free Everyday

A kind bakeshop in Maguindanao produce 2,000 pieces of breads everyday to distribute it to less fortunate people who can’t afford to buy food.

On Facebook, a bakery in the town of Sultan Kudarat, Maguindanao thought of giving bread away for free to the unfortunate Filipinos who are hungry and looking for food. This bakery is the Charity Bakeshop in Barangay Dalumangcob owned by Khalid Sanchez.

The bakeshop, which opened last November. According to Khalid, the owner, bread is a food with a miracle adding that he doesn’t mind bankruptcy. He also said that it even helped his business.

Every day, about 2,000 pieces of bread are distributed free of charge at Charity Bakeshop. It is said that those who are blessed with bread are often street children and some families who have nothing to eat.

People need to do is to eat the free bread right at the bakeshop, if you bring it home you have to pay for it. According to Khalid, he has noticed that greater blessings are returning to him since he provided free food to those in need, especially nowadays.

 “Wala pang ganito sa Pilipinas. Sabi ko, ‘why not umpishan ko?’ kasi ang mga tao may problema rin sa pagkain,” Khalid added who is a hajj o Islamic pilgrimage in Mecca since 2011.

As of now, the bakeshop is open from 5 a.m. to 9 p.m. They also plan to make 10,000 pieces of bread to distribute daily. Here in the Philippines, all the streets seem to have a bakery or bakeshop where you can buy different types of bread that is in the pockets of many Filipinos.
