A baby number 2 for Prince Harry and Meghan Markle
British royal Prince Harry and wife Meghan Markle are expecting their second baby.
The announcement came from the Duke and Duchess of Sussex was released through their spokesman. This came after three years since they got married and almost two years after they had their first baby named Archie, who is seventh in the line to the throne.
Meghan revealed to the public that she had a miscarriage in July last year. She shared this information through a New York Times opinion article. “Losing a child means carrying an almost unbearable grief, experienced by many but talked about by few,” the Duchess wrote last November.
Based on the article in NBC News, Prince Harry has been enjoying his role as a father. He even shared that he is taking advantage of the quarantine period to spend more time with baby Archie.
“There’s a hell of a lot of positives that are happening at the same time and being able to have family time — so much family time — that you almost think, ‘Do I feel guilty for having so much family time? You’ve got to celebrate those moments where you are just on the floor rolling around in hysterics,” the British royal said.
Now, a new bundle of joy is on the way. The spokesman of the couple has this statement regarding the second pregnancy of Meghan Markle with Prince Harry:
“We can confirm that Archie is going to be a big brother. The Duke and Duchess of Sussex are overjoyed to be expecting their second child.”
The photo that was released to announce the pregnancy was taken by Meghan’s friend Misan Harriman who wrote this in the Instagram caption: “Meg, I was there at your wedding to witness this love story begin, and my friend, I am honoured to capture it grow. Congratulations to The Duke and Duchess of Sussex on this joyous news!”
