Iloilo Fishermen Got Surprised After They Caught Huge ‘Apahap Fish’ in Iloilo River
Iloilo fishermen found giant ‘Apahap Fish’ weighing about 10 kilograms in Iloilo River, which is currently abundant of sea creatures.
The Facebook page “Trending TV” has shared the photos of a giant ‘Apahap Fish’ weighing about 10 kilograms found by a resident in Iloilo River. The post garnered various reactions from the online community.
A netizen named J’Niel De La Llana has posted the photos of huge fish he caught in Iloilo River. He was surprised after his fishing rod suddenly bend after throwing it into the river and saw the huge fish.
“Nagulat na lang ako. Bago ko lang nilagyan ng pain, tsaka itinapon ‘yung pamingwit, bigla na lang nag-bend ‘yung fishing rod ko, tas may tumalon na malaking isda hehe, pasalamat,” De La Llana said.
A massive amount of fishes have been found in the river after the government clean and maintained the Iloilo River. However, residents are prohibited to use fishing nets and advised to use fishing rods in the river.
