Teen in Laguna Allegedly Drug Pushing Arrested in a Buy-bust Operation

Police arrested a teen boy allegedly selling illegal drugs arrested in a buy-bust operation in San Pedro City in Laguna Province on Sunday night.

According to the report from Laguna police office, the anti-illegal drug operatives arrested the 18-years-old, Bryan Argana, after he sold an illegal drugs called shabu or crystal meth.

He sold P300 worth of illegal drugs to an undercover police officer in Barangay Pacita 1 at 9:35 p.m. The police who pretended as buyers immediately arrest him after he handed in the illegal drugs.

Authorities have seized three plastic sachets from the suspect, who is on the local police drug watch list. The report did not mention the estimated value of the confiscated meth. The suspect was detained at the city jail and is facing charges for violating the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.

Meanwhile, Philippine National Police (PNP) in Manila has rescued a minor who was believed used by suspects as a “runner” for illegal drug activities. PNP Chief Police General Debold Sinas said that criminals should be stopped and children should be protected from criminal exploitation.
