What could be the reason why James Reid is not doing this project with Nancy McDonie?
JAMES REID – Here are the mix and various comments of the netizens when James Reid announced that he’s not doing “Soulmate” project.
Momoland’s Nancy McDonie was previously announced as the new leading lady of Kapamilya actor James Reid in a television series entitled “The Soulmate Project” which will be directed by Antoinette Jadaone.
To recall, James’ previous love team was with his ex-girlfriend Nadine Lustre. However, the pandemic and the shut down of the network happend, it this still happening? In a previous article, the actor evaded the queries by answering: “I can’t say too much about that right now, sorry.”
And recently, in a video circulating online, the actor finally announced that he’s not doing the project anymore. No further details has been posted as to why he wouldn’t do this anymore but many netizens has reacted to this. Some speculated that they lack chemistry while there are also who said that it could be because of the current events that’s happening.

Nancy and James are supposed to play the roles of Binna and Jayson, respectively. It is said that the series will include 13 episodes with a format followed in after US and Korean dramas. This will accordingly be filmed in the Philippines and in South Korea.
James first worked with Jadaone in the hit series “On The Wings Of Love” while Nancy is a member of K-pop girl group Momoland known in the country to have great resemblance with Liza Soberano.
