Here’s what Willie Revillame said about Maja Salvador
Wowowin host Willie Revillame reacted to the rumors saying that Maja Salvador will be part of hist Kapuso game show.
Maja ended her ASAP Natin ‘To stint and transferred to Brightlight Productions’ Sunday Noontime Live on TV5. She said in a statement that she had to do that because she wanted to accompany and support her “tatay-tatayan” in showbiz, Johnny Manahan who is popularly known as Mr. M.
Unfortunately, SNL lasted for just three months and the production company decided to end the show due to “financial losses”, as owner Albee Benitez said in an interview.
Following this, rumors surfaced that Maja Salvador will be under the Kapuso network. It was speculated that she is the former Kapamilya actress who will join Heart Evangelista and Richard Yap’s new series on GMA.
Another speculation that surfaced was that Maja will be the new co-host of Willie Revillame. To recall, the latter aired his invitation to Mr. M to join them in his game show. Because of this, it was rumored that the actress-dancer most probably will follow her “tatay-tatayan” again.
In line with his rumors, Willie was asked by Philstar’s entertainment columnist Ricky Lo. Through a text message, the Wowowin host debunked the rumors. “Hindi totoo. Sino may sabi? Hindi ko alam ‘yan. Baka para mapag-usapan. Sino sumulat?” Kuya Wil said.
When the columnist said that the rumors have been circulating, Willie Revillame answered, “Wala. Hindi ko kailangan ng co-host. It’s a talk show pa-minsan-minsan with guest co-host.”
With this, Lo said in his article, “Where does Maja go from here? Definitely not back to ABS-CBN!”
