Entertainment columnist-talent manager Lolit Solis slammed the reason that actress-dancer Maja Salvador said for accepting the offer to be part of Sunday Noontime Live on TV5.
ABS-CBN launched the career of Maja, and she spent several years doing various projects under the management of the TV giant. However, amid the pandemic, she released a statement to her fans saying that she has to accompany her “tatay-tatayan” Johnny Manahan or Mr. M in his new project in the Kapatid network.
Unfortunately, SNL only ran for a season and Brightlight Productions owner Albee Benitez decided to end the show that was reportedly not earning. Following this, Mr. M let out some bomb from his closet against the production company, his unheard plea of one episode extension to TV5, the problem in Star Magic, and the alleged shadow talent center in ABS-CBN.
Along with these issues that were raised after SNL was ended, Lolit Solis revealed in a previous article that Maja Salvador and Piolo Pascual have been receiving talent fees more than what they received before for doing ASAP Natin ‘To. Allegedly, they were receiving P300,000 a month.
Lolit shared another writeup about Maja just recently. “Iyon drama nuon na kaya lang pumayag na tanggapin ang alok ng Brightlight na sumama sila sa sunday show ay dahil sa love nila si Mr M o direk Johnny Manahan Salve ay hindi pala ganuon katutoo,” Manay Lolit said.
The columnist pointed out the possible reason why the actress-dancer accepted the SNL stint was because of the talent fee. “Katawa tawa ngayon iyon mga pa eklay na dahil kay Mr. M , bakit hindi na lang sinabi, sayang iyon tf ? Or gusto nyo, give nyo rin ako ganuon kalaki tf,” she added.
Lolit Solis also said that it is just practical for people to be tempted and accept the one that has a better offer. She also expressed “inis” to the alleged drama of Maja Salvador of not having the will to turn down Johnny Manahan’s request.
