The LG V40 ThinQ measures 158.8 x 75.7 x 7.6 mm and weighs 169 grams. The material used for building the device includes a glass front (Gorilla Glass 5), a glass back (Gorilla Glass 5), and an aluminum frame.

LG V40 ThinQ comes in a 6.4” screen size and the display is a P-OLED capacitive touchscreen that provides 1440 x 3120 pixels resolution. The smartphone supports a single SIM (Nano-SIM) or dual SIM (Nano-SIM, dual stand-by).

The smartphone is powered by the Qualcomm SDM845 Snapdragon 845 Octa-core processor while the GPU is Adreno 630. It is packed with 6GB and 8GB of RAM while the internal storage has 64GB and 128GB options.

The rear side of the LG V40 ThinQ features a triple camera that consists of a 12-megapixel (standard) + 12-megapixel (telephoto) + 16-megapixel (ultrawide). On the front, there’s an 8-megapixel + 5-megapixel camera for selfies.

Connectivity options on the smartphone include a WiFi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, Bluetooth 5.0, GPS with A-GPS, GALILEO, GLONASS, NFC, USB Type-C 2.0. The phone’s sensors include a barometer, compass, proximity, gyro, accelerometer, and fingerprint (rear-mounted).

The device is fueled by a 3300 mAh Li-Po battery (non-removable) + fast charging 18W + Quick charge 3.0 + USB Power delivery 2.0 + Qi fast wireless charging 10W. It was launched in New Platinum Gray, Carmine Red, New Aurora Black, and New Moroccan Blue colors.
