This is the reason why Beth Tamayo left the Philippines
Former actress Beth Tamayo opened up about the “danger” that prompted her to leave the Philippines and her career in showbiz.
Beth left the country in 2009. At that time, she still has an active career in the entertainment industry. All of a sudden, she had to leave everything.
The former actress revealed in a recent interview on the show of Paolo Contis, Just In, she revealed that there were threats in their lives before and because of this she had to be away.
“Hindi naman natin idedenay ‘yan. It’s been in the news or whatever, my ex-husband before had a problem, financial problem,” Beth Tamayo shared, based on the article in Bandera.
She felt that their lives were in danger already as many people were going after her former husband.
“So, parang ang dami na ng taong naghahabol sa kaniya and parang our lives are actually in danger na so we had to leave,” the former actress said.
When she arrived in the US, her life felt like she had to begin again from zero. Beth Tamayo had to take every possible opportunity in having a job. Her life away from the Philippines and with that kind of situation made her realize that “struggle is real”.
Beth’s first job in the US was being a nanny and then, she had to find another job to earn extra.

“Magtatrabaho ako ng 8 in the morning until 5 p.m. sa office and then tatakbo ako sa second job ko because I have a 6 in the evening up to closing which is sometimes 12-midnight sa restaurant,” the former actress shared.
Fortunately, her bachelor’s degree in college helped her find a job with a better salary but that was not easy either. Later on, she learned to love her life in the US.
