Victory Park and Shop Mall in Antipolo Temporarily Shut Due to Protocol Violation
The local government of Antipolo ordered a temporary closure of Victory Park and the shop mall due to violations of health protocols.
Antipolo City Mayor Andrea Bautista Ynares has released an order to temporarily closed the mall due to violations of minimum health protocols discovered. The mayor has not yet given any statement for the specific violations of the said mall.
On Facebook, Mayor Ynares said the mall will only be allowed to resume operations once they have presented to the city government the steps it will take to comply with the minimum health protocols to the city government.

Earlier, the city government has required all establishments in the city to implement the Bantay COVID-19 Contact Tracing QR Code, a tracing system that replaced the manual registration of all people entering the establishments within the city.
The city’s QR code can also be used in Pasig City and Valenzuela City as the three cities have interconnected their contact tracing system. Victory Park and Shop which is located outside the compound of the National Shrine of the Our Lady of Peace and Good Voyage was closed down on Feb. 5.
Meanwhile, the total number of COVID-19 cases in the city has reached 4,337, with 16 new cases reported. Overall in the country, the Department of Health (DOH) recorded 532,000 cases, 488,000 recoveries, and 10,997 deaths.
