PAGASA – Here are the following latest updates from the state weather bureau PAGASA, on this day February 4, 2021 (Thursday).
The latest update from the state weather bureau says that Northeast Monsoon or amihan will be affecting Luzon and Visayas.
According to the bureau’s official website, amihan will bring cloudy skies with rains over Bicol Region, Western Visayas, and Samar Provinces. Possible flash floods or landslides may occur during moderate with at times heavy rains.
It will also bring cloudy skies with light rains over Cagayan Valley, Caraga, and the provinces of Apayao, Kalinga, Mountain Province, Ifugao, Aurora, Quezon, Oriental Mindoro, Marinduque, and Romblon.
Metro Manila and the rest of Luzon and Visayas will bring partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated light rains also due to the monsoon.
The rest of Mindanao will face partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers due to localized thunderstorm. Possible flash floods or landslides may occur during severe thunderstorms
The bureau’s wind and coastal water condition forecast states that Luzon and Visayas will face moderate to strong winds that are moving in the northeast direction, while facing moderate to rough coastal waters.
Mindanao will face light to moderate winds that are moving in the northeast direction, while facing slight to moderate coastal waters.
