Over 200 Sea Turtles Released To Sea In Naic Town, Cavite
200 SEA TURTLES – More than 200 sea turtles were released to the waters in the municipality of Naic in Cavite on Wednesday.

The release of sea turtles to sea was conducted by the Philippine Coast Guard- Cavite, according to a report from ABS-CBN News.
203 turtles were set free at the shore of Barangay Labac in the municipality. Among them were those that were considered an endangered species by the World Wildlife Fund (WWF).
Philippine Coast Guard Cavite Commander Lt. Michael John Encina said that the environment should still be taken care of even amid the COVID-19 pandemic.
The sea turtles came from the hatchery which took care of turtle eggs since December. A turtle ranger from Naic got the said eggs from Barangay Bancaan.
The PCG was joined by the local government of Naic, barangay officials and the Philippine Army.
Based on the report, the said activity was the first for the PCG, who aims to continue conducting more like this.
In a previous animal report, a carcass of a huge whale was discovered and retrieved from the waters off southern Italy.

The dead whale is seen of the surface of the sea by the harbour of Sorrento. It was discovered by coast guard scuba divers, who was following a whale calf that was in distress.
