Will Thia Thomalla join the Miss World Philippines pageant again?
Miss Eco International 2018 Thia Thomalla, who is now a Kapuso talent, hints at joining the Miss World Philippines pageant again.
Cynthia Magpatoc Thomalla is a Filipina-German beauty from Southern Leyte who represented the Philippines in the aforementioned beauty pageant three years ago.
In the same year when she won, she signed a contract with GMA Artist Center. From that, she had several Kapuso shows like The Gift starring Asia’s Multimedia Star Alden Richards and the lifestyle show Glow Up, based on the article in GMA’s entertainment section.
In an interview last year, Thia already expressed her desire to give Miss World PH another try.
“I’m happy with the Miss Eco International crown, but there are so many what ifs at the back of my head. Miss World is my mother pageant. Given the perfect circumstances, I’d really love to join again,” she said.
In her recent Instagram post, it appeared that she is set to do her plan to be in the pageant world again. “Will you help me conquer the world?” she wrote in the caption of her post.
This photo of Thia Thomalla received admiration from her fellow Kapuso artists and beauty queens such as 2017 Reina Hispanoamericana 2017 Winwyn Marquez and Miss World Philippines winners Laura Lehmann and Michelle Dee.
In her Instagram story, Thia shared her message of being grateful for the support that she is receiving. However, she did not directly say if this is for the Miss World Philippines pageant.
The screening for the 2020/2021 pageant was held just recently. As of the writing, the MWP has not released yet the official names of the candidates.
