Here’s what James Reid said about dealing with a broken heart
Actor-singer James Reid shared his lengthy “hugot” as his love advice who are experiencing heartbreak.
During a recent interview on Monster RX93.1, James was asked to share his love advice for heartbroken people and he has a deep “hugot” when it comes to this, based on the article in Pang-Masa.
“I honestly believe that you know, like when you’re in like a relationship, love is not something that someone gives to you. Love is something that you share with someone else,” he said.
He added that one can only give love if he or she has it and this will not be possible for those who look down and hate themselves. “You can’t expect other people to just fill up, you know, our own cup because then, we’re taking from other people,” James Reid stressed.
He also said that this is how he perceived love, something to be shared and not to be taken.
“So, I think if you’re heartbroken, maybe it’s a good sign for you to start working on yourself, to figure out what it is that you need in your life so that you can just love yourself and then you can be comfortable in your own skin,” the singer-actor said.
James Reid also shared that amid that pandemic, he feels happy with the fact that he now has the sense of purpose. Asking himself the reason behind the things he does helps him to be motivated.
“As long as you always have that feeling of purpose in the things that you are doing, you can really go through any situation,” he shared.
