Factory Workers Sought Raffy Tulfo’s Help Againsto Popular Candy Brand Over Disgusting Workplace & Low Salary Rate
The factory workers of a popular candy brand exposed the disgusting and filthy condition at their workplace.
Recently, the employees of candy factor Fruittiland Food Corporation sought Raffy Tulfo’s help over their disgusting workplace. The company can be located at #43 Goldendale Subd., Tinajeros, Malabon in Metro Manila.
The workers revealed that their workplace is very disgusting, which could cause contamination of their candy products. They also complained about the company’s inhumane treatment to their employees.
The poor workers exposed that they have no benefits such as SSS and PhilHealth. They are earning P300 per day and failed to receive their 13th month pay last December as well as other benefits. The company owner has been identified as Danny Young.
Raffy Tulfo also sought the help of Atty. Voltaire Dela Cruz to ensure that the company would comply with the sanitary rules and regulations. The lawyer would also assure that the Chinese businessman would pay the unpaid benefits for the workers.
