Cops Arrest Pampanga Businessman and Colleague Over Attempting to Bribe a Policeman
The police authorities arrested a businessman together with its colleague in Pampanga for alleged attempting to bribe a policeman.
The businessman identified as Aaron Christian Bolus together with its colleague has been arrested in an entrapment operation conducted by the investigation office of Philippine National Police-Criminal Investigation and Detection Group in Angeles City.
Bolus has been arrested for allegedly trying to bribe a policeman for the freedom of a French national who has been nabbed due to drug-related charges. The authorities recovered a bag containing P1.5 million.
CIDG-Pampanga chief Police Major Leopoldo Cajipe said that Bolus introduced himself as a friend of the French national. The France government contacted Interpol to arrest the suspect identified as Julie Ann Babier due to illegal drug charges.
The police authorities monitored the transaction using a CCTV footage and immediately arrest the suspect after the police chief give the go signal for the operation.

The businessman’s colleague named Joseph Julius Gonzales refused to give a statement regarding the incident. Babier also refused to give her comment on the incident.
