Four Alleged Drug Pushers Arrested In Taytay Town, Rizal

TAYTAY TOWN – Four individuals suspected to be drug peddlers were arrested by policemen in a buy bust operation in Taytay town, Rizal.

According to a report from Manila Bulletin, the Rizal Police Provincial Office (PPO) identified the alleged drug suspects as Mark Christopher Montealegre, Lloyd Valle, Ivy Abrantes, and Ivan Daniel Abrantes.

Retrieved from the suspects were six pieces of heat-sealed plastic sachets of suspected illegal drugs weighing at about 30 grams and are worth at about P204,000, as well as three sachets of dried plant drugs, which are worth at about P200.

The four were arrested at about 3 AM on February 1 in a buy bust operation at Block 44 Sitio Lumang Ilog, Damayan Floodway, Barangay San Juan there.

The operation was conducted with Provincial Intelligence Unit and Provincial Drug Enforcement Unit of the Rizal PPO in coordination with the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency, based on the report.

A high school student and his two nephews, meanwhile, have been arrested after caught using illegal drugs in Tacloban City.

Authorities have retrieved a sachet of suspected illegal drugs worth P2, 000. A coin purse filled with large pack of illegal substance worth P40,000 was also discovered. The teacher has been considered a high value target.
