Ara Mina shared this about her daughter Mandy
Actress Ara Mina just recently got engaged with Dave Almarinez and she shared the reaction of her daughter Mandy to her upcoming wedding.
Ara said that her fiancé is an “answered prayer”. Many of Ara’s showbiz friends were there during the engagement party to celebrate with her and Dave.
In a previous interview, the actress admitted that her daughter Mandy is not that close to her fiancé. However, the young girl has shown excitement about the engagement.
Talking to Inquirer’s entertainment columnist Dolly Ann Carvajal, Ara Mina was asked if what was Mandy’s reaction to the fact that she is getting married but not to the latter’s dad Patrick Meneses.
“The way I see it, Mandy is very excited. No questions asked as to why I will be marrying Dave and not her dad, Pat. Mandy grew up with me, but she of course gets to see her dad any time. All of us learned to adjust with the arrangement, and I think being honest and open to Mandy made her understand what’s happening,” she said.
She added that she and Patrick will continue coparenting Mandy and that Dave will not replace her daughter’s father.
“Pat and Dave haven’t talked about Mandy yet. I don’t think there will be a problem, since our goal is to put Mandy first before everything else,” Ara Mina added.
When asked why she decided to say “yes” when Dave popped the question, Ara said pointed out her fiance’s family-oriented trait. The actress also said that Dave knows and respects that her priority is her daughter.
