3 Friends Arrested for Selling 1Kilo of Illegal Drugs “Maryjane” in Tondo
Police arrested three (3) friends in Todo, Manila for selling 1 kilo of illegal dried plant drugs “maryjane” during the buy-bust operation.
The 3 friends were arrested together after they were caught with 1 kilo of “Maryjane” in a buy-bust operation at the Galas Police Station in Tondo, Manila on Thursday, according to the report of ABS-CBN News.
During the buy-bust operation, the suspects changed their meeting place for several hours. Eventually, they reached CP Garcia corner Castañaz Street where the police operative pretended to buy illegal drugs.

They sold up to P120,000 worth of illegal dried plant drugs to the pretending buyer. According to police, they obtained information on the illegal activity of the group from an informant who was included in the group chat of the suspects.
They sell drugs online because they usually only transact with acquaintances. The suspects’ customers are from Quezon City and Manila, particularly in Tondo.
Based on the report, police recovered a .38 caliber gun from them, which is possible for their protection especially since they have big transactions when selling the drugs.
One of the suspects admitted to selling the illegal dried plant. However, he was only influenced by his two friends. They are facing charges for selling and smuggling illegal drugs.
