Vice Ganda Mentions ‘Kapuso’ in Kapamilya-Kapatid ‘Sanib-Pwersa’

Vice Ganda has this recent meaningful statement about ‘Kapuso’

It’s Showtime host Vice Ganda mentioned “Kapuso” during the first-ever airing of Kapamilya musical variety show ASAP Natin ‘To on TV5 or the Kapatid network.

On January 24, this iconic event in the history of television in the Philippines happened. As the representative of the Kapamilya daily noontime show, Vice, along Vhong Navarro and Jhong Hilario were also there.

The Unkabogable star, based on the article PEP, expressed gratefulness to the executives of the Kapatid network as ASAP was given a chance to be aired on TV5.

What’s up, madlang people, mga Kapamilya, at Kapatid? Maraming-maraming salamat po. Personally, I would like to say thank you very much. To PLDT and TV5 Chairman Mr. Manny V. Pangilinan, Cignal and TV5 President and CEO Mr. Robert Galang, maraming-maraming salamat po,” Vice Ganda said.

He also congratulated everyone who made the then-impossible merging happened now after ABS-CBN’s franchise was denied. “Wala nang dibisyon, may TV5, may ABS-CBN, may Kapamilya, may Kapatid,” the comedian-host added.

Then, Vice talked about his red, ruffled, heart-shaped outfit. “Siyempre kaya ako nagganito… Kapuso… mga Kapatid mahal na mahal namin kayo!!”  he said while laughing. Reportedly, this made viewers think if the comedian intentionally did this just to mention that Kapuso network or GMA-7.

Based on the article, the answer of Vhong Navarro to this was, “Sabi ko na, two plus five equals puso.” This statement of the former Streetboys member made the public recall the time when Eat Bulaga host Joey de Leon mentioned the longest-running noontime show ended in GMA-7 because it was previously on RPN-9 and then transferred to ABS-CBN Channel 2, so 9 minus 2 equals 7.
