Raymond Gutierrez Party Resulted To BGC Restaurant Closure?

Is the birthday party of Raymond Gutierrez the reason why a restaurant in BGC faced closure?

RAYMOND GUTIERREZ – A lot of netizens call out Raymond Gutierrez for allegedly partying in a restaurant in BGC which led to its closure.

One of the rules that everyone must strictly follow amid the pandemic is to avoid mass gatherings such as holding big parties or any celebrations. This is implemented for the safety of everyone and to curb the spread of the deadly and highly contagious coronavirus.

However, news reports just recently surfaced indicated that a high-end restaurant in BGC has closed down after violating such rules. Accordingly, it is the restaurant that famous personality Raymond Gutierrez has held his birthday. He celebrated his 37th birthday with his friends in La Picara BGC on Friday night.

Taguig COVID Regulations Enforcement ordered the restaurant to close down. Also, photos of Gutierez with his friends that seemed to show violations such as not wearing face masks and not following social distancing regulations surfaced online.

Based on posts online, Raymond and his friends who attended the party all had undergone COVID-19 testing. However, with the clear violation of health safety rules and protocols, it led to close down of the establishment and many people online expressed disappointment.

As per Taguig Mayor Lino Cayetano, the closure is due to the resto’s repeated violations of health protocols. In an article from Summit Express, the mayor said, “While we are aggressive in wanting all business to reopen, there are some restaurants and tenants which are just abusive. Their co-tenants are the ones reporting to us their rampant violations.”
