MMA Fighter Allegedly Selling Kush Arrested in a Buy-bust Operation in QC
Mixed Martial Arts (MMA) fighter arrested in a buy-bust operation after allegedly selling illegal herbs “maryjane” or kush in Quezon City.
According to the report of GMA News, the MMA fighter was identified as Gary Espinar. Espinar was arrested by Northern Police District Drug Enforcement Unit for allegedly selling the high-grade maryjane known as kush.
His arrest promted after two drug suspects who were also arrested pointed him as the source of their kush. The buy-bust conducted resulted to confiscating eight cans and 10 sachets of kust.

The kush seized was worth P2.8 million. Authoritites also recovered two phones and a vehicle. Espinar made no comment on his arrest.
Meanwhile, authorities are urged to intensify operation against illegal drugs including “maryjane” as President Rodrigo Duterte is still merciless towards drug suspects and criminal activities.
